Creative and Cultural Hardware

Material: Zinc Alloy Die Casting
Application: Gifts & Creative Products
Secondary Process: Deburring, Polishing
Surface Treatment: Electroplating
Lead Time: 10-15 days
Product Advantages: 1. Die casting makes cultural and creative pieces producible at volume — small decorative parts are the hardest to make by hand, while a die forms them in one shot, so supply keeps up with demand and the detail stays consistent instead of drifting batch after batch. 2. Gold plating in real gold, imitation gold, 24K and other specifications — the finish is chosen by product positioning, so one design covers several price tiers without a new tool, and the same die amortises across the whole range. 3. Complex shapes form in one piece; relief and cut-out elements need no assembly from separate parts — the form stays faithful to the original, there are no seams to spoil the look, and fine depth and openwork survive. 4. Production starts once the sample is approved, 10-15 days — stock for a holiday season can be scheduled in stages instead of being pushed into the last week, so a rush order does not put the delivery date at risk.
Overview
Creative and cultural hardware is usually made in small runs with a lot of shape detail, which is exactly where stamping and casting differ. Die casting holds the fine relief and the small undercuts that make a souvenir look hand made, and it repeats the same shape across a run without tooling wear showing up in the pattern. These parts are cast in zinc alloy, polished and plated in gold.
Typical Applications
Souvenirs, museum and tourism merchandise, presentation giftware and decorative hardware for cultural products. The gold plating options run from imitation gold through real gold to 24K, so the same casting can be sold at different price points. It is finished on the same line as a decorative drinkware ring and a bag nameplate.
Manufacturing Capability
Parts are cast on zinc machines from 88 to 168 tonnes, with relief and fine detail held in the tool rather than added by machining. Polishing is done by hand where the pattern needs it, and gold plating is run with our finishing partners to an agreed colour and thickness. Lead time is 10 to 15 days on repeat orders, which suits the seasonal rhythm of gift and tourism programmes.
Why Work With Xiuhui
Xiuhui has been die casting zinc and aluminum in Dongguan for over 20 years. Cultural hardware carries a design story, so the casting has to reproduce a pattern faithfully every time and not just on the first shot. Repeat programmes for gift and tourism customers run from the same tool, which keeps the second order identical to the first.
