Bag D-Ring Buckle

Material: Anodizable Aluminum Die Casting
Application: Bags & Apparel
Secondary Process: CNC Machining, Grinding
Surface Treatment: Anodizing
Lead Time: 7-10 days
Product Advantages: 1. Anodized after aluminium die casting, with even colour — the anodic layer grows out of the metal, so it does not flake off in sheets where webbing rubs it every day. Paint or plating is a covering layer that shows the base once worn through, and on shoulder straps and rings the difference is obvious. 2. Far less CNC time and material — near-net-shape casting leaves only a finishing allowance, which is much cheaper than milling from solid, matching the volume and price sensitivity of bag hardware. 3. One casting covers black, silver, gold, red, blue and more, so a series does not need a die per colour — the same part covers several colours at low cost per variant, and colour is checked against the card before dispatch so a batch does not ship with drift. 4. 7-10 days, matching the seasonal and new-product rhythm of the bag industry — production starts once the colour is approved and lands in time for launch; high-volume models can run multi-cavity to spread tooling cost.
Overview
This bag D-ring buckle is die cast in anodizable aluminum and finished with anodizing rather than plating, so the colour sits in the metal instead of on top of it. It is made for bag, luggage and apparel hardware where the part has to take load, keep its colour through abrasion, and still look right next to leather or webbing.
Typical Applications
Typical uses include handbag and luggage hardware, strap adjusters, lanyard rings and decorative clasps. Other anodized aluminum parts we cast include the Anodized Aluminum Cosmetic Box and the Anodized Aluminum Electronic Enclosure.
Manufacturing Capability
D-rings are cast on 250 to 350 tonne aluminum machines with wall sections down to 1.2 mm, then polished and anodized in house. Anodizing builds an oxide layer that will not chip off the way a coating can, which matters on a part that rubs against straps all day. Colour is matched to a master sample and checked before packing.
Why Work With Xiuhui
Xiuhui has been die casting zinc and aluminum in Dongguan for over 20 years, with in-house anodizing for aluminum parts. Hardware is a wear item: a buckle that loses its colour after one season makes the whole bag look cheap. Cast-then-anodize keeps the colour in the metal and the cost below machined alternatives, which is why bag and apparel brands in Europe and North America come to us for it.
