Anodized Aluminum Cosmetic Box

Anodized aluminum cosmetic box in champagne gold

Material: Anodizable Aluminum Die Casting

Application: Beauty & Personal Care

Secondary Process: Deburring, Polishing, CNC Machining

Surface Treatment: Anodizing

Lead Time: 15-25 days

Product Advantages: 1. Cast then anodized, with very little machining and a low unit cost — against milling from solid aluminium, both material and machine time drop sharply, which suits packaging where volume is high and price sensitivity is real. The saving grows with quantity. 2. Sandblasted with 150# grit and anodized champagne gold — the premium feel comes from texture rather than gloss: light scatters instead of glaring, which reads as quality. Grit and colour are best confirmed at the sample stage. 3. Supplied to international brands, with colour consistency that stands up to a factory audit — the same shade across batches comes from fixed grit size, anodising thickness and sealing, not from re-matching colour on every run. 4. One tool covers several diameters and heights, so extending the range needs no new die — low tooling cost per variant is the biggest lever on total cost in packaging projects, and it shows up in the quotation from the start.

Overview

This anodized aluminum cosmetic box is die cast from anodizable aluminum alloy, then sandblasted and anodized to a champagne gold finish. It is built for beauty and personal care brands that need a metal package with a premium hand feel, consistent colour between batches, and a unit cost well below machined alternatives. The body is cast close to final shape, so only light CNC work and polishing are needed before anodizing.

Typical Applications

Typical uses include cream and serum jars, compact powder cases, lipstick shells, fragrance caps and gift sets. The same tooling can produce several sizes, and the anodizing bath accepts custom colours, so one product family can cover an entire skincare line without new moulds. The same anodizing line also finishes our Anodized Aluminum Electronic Enclosure and the Bag D-Ring Buckle.

Manufacturing Capability

This cosmetic box is cast from aluminum alloy on a 250 tonne machine, with a minimum wall thickness of 1.2 mm. Deburring, polishing and CNC machining are handled in house, and anodizing builds a 10 to 15 μm layer that gives the champagne gold finish both depth and wear resistance. Every batch is checked against a master sample before packing.
