Anodized Aluminum Electronic Enclosure

Material: Anodizable Aluminum Die Casting
Application: Consumer Electronics
Secondary Process: Drilling, Grinding
Surface Treatment: Anodizing
Lead Time: 10-15 days
Product Advantages: 1. Cast then anodized, which removes most CNC work — milling from solid turns most of the billet into chips, with high material and machine cost; die casting is near-net shape and leaves only a finishing allowance, and the difference widens with volume. 2. Black, red and other anodised colours from a single casting — one die covers the whole colour range of a product family. The wider the range, the more this matters, and it is especially useful when there are many SKUs. 3. Aluminium dissipates heat well, and the anodic layer grows out of the metal itself instead of sitting on top — daily knocks, sweat and alcohol wipes do not wear through it the way they wear through paint, so the look holds up over time. 4. Critical mating surfaces are machined to drawing while the rest keeps its cast texture, avoiding distortion from extra clamping — fewer machined faces means more stable dimensions and appearance, less labour, and a more uniform result.
Overview
This anodized aluminum electronic enclosure is die cast from anodizable aluminum alloy, then deburred, polished and anodized. It is made for consumer electronics brands that need a metal housing with tight dimensional control, good heat dissipation and a finish that survives daily handling, without paying for a fully machined body. Because the shell is cast close to final shape, most of the CNC operations normally needed on a billet part are eliminated.
Typical Applications
Typical uses include power bank shells, mini PC and set-top box housings, drone and gimbal bodies, sensor enclosures and portable audio devices. Anodizing can be run in black, red, silver, blue or a custom colour match, so one casting can cover a whole product family across colour variants. Other anodized aluminum parts we cast include the Bag D-Ring Buckle and the Anodized Aluminum Cosmetic Box.
Manufacturing Capability
This enclosure is cast on a 250 to 350 tonne aluminum machine, with the thinnest wall section down to 0.8 mm. Deburring and polishing are handled in house, and anodizing builds a hard oxide layer that resists scratching and fingerprints. Critical features are held to 0.03 mm, and every batch is checked against a master sample before packing.
Why Work With Xiuhui
Xiuhui has been die casting zinc and aluminum in Dongguan for over 20 years, with tooling, casting, machining and anodizing all under one roof. That matters for electronic enclosures, where a change to wall thickness or a new colour usually means another trial run. Customers in Europe and North America use us for both volume orders and small trial batches before committing to production.
